About the Comic

Easy Way Out was born from the ashes of my previous webcomic Love's A Bitch (picture). They're technically the same comic, except from the fact that Love's A Bitch sucked. After lots of plot revising, character revising and de-manga-fying, Easy Way Out saw daylight for the first time. I started drawing this comic in 2009 and I have no plans to end it anytime soon. I have a story that I really want to tell.

Easy Way Out is about Emily. Emily is a normal girl, but when her best friend leaves to study abroad, she feels pretty lonely. The comic is also about Milla. Milla is a normal girl with a not so normal life. The comic is also about Elias. Elias is a skilled guitarist aiming to start the best band ever. When Emily meets Milla and Elias one thing is for sure - her life will change. In a good sense? Read and find out!


About the Author

I'm Millie August and I'm from Sweden. I've been drawing my whole life of 18 years. I'm currently studying and when I don't study I draw and make music among other creative things. I've drawn comics for as long as I can remember, but it was when I discovered online comics and manga that my interest became really huge.

A couple of years later I discovered J-rock and music suddenly became a huge part of my life. As time progressed my views crossed the seas and I discovered new bands and new genres. And let's not forget the old bands! In high school I was very lucky to meet new friends who shared my interest, and I still play together with some of them in our band.
